Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) will be issued Admit cards (Hall ticket) for Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) 2013 on Saturday, December 21st, 2013. One can download their Admit cards by Application/Challan Number, by Roll Number or by Name, Father Name & Date of Birth from provided  links .

In RTET 2012 a total 525,471 candidates participated in the first and second level exam. Out of total appeared candidates, 85,590 candidates in the first level , 448,457 candidates in the Second level and 8,880 candidates in both level examinations will be participate.

Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test  (RTET 2013) will be conducted by Board of School Education, Rajasthan as a nodal agency ordered by Govt. of Rajasthan. Board of School Education, Rajasthan has published an advertisement regarding RTET 2013 on its official website http://www.examrtet.rajasthan.gov.in/  Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test 2013 (RTET 2013) will be conduct as per following schedule.

RTET 2013 Schedule:
  •  Deposition of Application Fee (e-mitra/CSC centre) : From 24-Oct-2013 To 17-Nov-2013 (6:00 P.M.)
  • Submission of Online Application : From 24-Oct-2013 To 18-Nov-2013
  • Downloading of Admit Cards: 21 December 2013
  • Date of Examination: 29 December 2013 (Sunday) 
  • Time of Examination: 1st Level: 11.00 am to 1.30 pm (2 ½ hours ), 2nd Level: 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm (2 ½ hours )
Application Fee: 
The candidates can submit their examination fee as per their eligibility on e-mitra/CSC kiosk established across the state. 
  • Level-I or Level-II (only for one exam): Rs. 400/-
  • Level-I and Level-II (for both exam): Rs. 600/- 

Note: The last date for submission of online examination is 18th November, 2013 and last date for submission of examination fee is 17th November 2013.

Eligibility:
  1. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree OR equivalent examination from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science and Application, Earth Science, Population Studies, Education etc. are eligible for this Test. The Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Physically Handicapped (PH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master's degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
  2. Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master's degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for Lectureship eligibility only after they have passed their Master's degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH category candidates). Such candidates must complete their P.G. degree examination within two years from the date of SET result with required percentage of marks failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
  3. The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master's level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.
  4. Candidates are required to appear in subject of their post-graduation only. In case the subject of a candidate is not included in the list of SET subjects, the candidate may appear in UGC NET/UGC-CSIR NET, which is held twice a year.

Validity of RSET Certificate:
For lectureship eligibility, the SET certificate is valid for that particular State only and forever. Recruitment to
the post of lecturer may be made from among the SET qualified candidates by Universities/Colleges/
Recruitment Agencies as per their prescribed procedures and Rules & Regulations.

Paper- I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will
primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness
of the candidate. Sixty (60) Multiple choice questions of two marks each will be given, out of which the
candidate would be required to answer any fifty (50). In the event of the candidate attempting more than
fifty questions, the first fifty questions attempted by the candidate would be evaluated.

Paper- II & III shall consist Objective type questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each
question will carry 2 marks.

RSET Syllabus:

RTET 2014-2015 Exam Schedule | RTET 2013-2014 Exam Dates | Online Application Schedule


Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) 2013 will be held on Sunday, 29 December, 2013. School Education Deptt. has issued an advertisement for its 3rd  Teacher Eligibility Test recently. Online Application process commenced from 24th October, 2013 to 18th  November 2013 up to 2.00 pm. Application fee for RTET 2013 will be deposited through e-mitra/CSC centre in between 24th October to 17th July, 2013.

RTET 2012 Level-I and Level-II examination will be held on same day. The schedule for Level-I examination will be 11.00 am to 1.30 Noon and for Level-II examination will be 2.00 PM to 4.30. Syllabus for the same is already provided by the Education board.
